Who Can Rappel
Anyone over 110 lbs can rappel. You do not have to be a Boy Scout. Simply register, raise money to reach your goal, and rappel!

Welcome to "The Top" from Julian MacQueen We took a chance last year and allowed a brave group of individuals to rappel from the top of the Hilton on Pensacola Beach to raise money for the Gulf Coast Council Boy Scouts. As one of the first rappellers, I know how exciting this experience is and it is why I decided to chair this years event. First of all, it is FREE, and nearly anyone can rappel and there is no experience necessary. It is thrilling, safe and comes with serious bragging rights. Simply register online and use the tools provided to encourage your friends, family, coworkers, etc. to donate. When you reach $1,000 in donations, you secure your spot to go Over The Edge in November.

Who: Anyone, No Experience Necessary
You'll put on your harness and safety gear, go through training and board the elevator for the 17th floor of the Hilton on Pensacola Beach. From there, you will climb two flights of stairs to the roof. An experienced team of Over The Edge rappelling professionals will greet you and get you strapped in. Then, the real journey begins. You'll climb up and over the awning 18 stories above Pensacola Beach. From there, you lean back, enjoy the view, take a deep breath and enjoy your rappel!
Anyone can do it. There is absolutey no experience necessary. And when you regsiter, we provide you with a website for you to have friends, family and co-workers make donations to help you reach your goal.
